Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Technician to join an established organisation based near Guildford, Surrey.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining general warehouse duties, stock control and basic technical tasks. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, motivated and keen to develop their skills.
The Warehouse Operative Role:
- Picking, packing and preparing stock
- Stock control, labelling and logging
- Updating stock systems and using handheld scanners
- Loading and unloading goods
- Checking, cleaning and preparing returned items
- Basic checks and minor maintenance where required
- Occasionally assisting with deliveries and other operational duties
What we're looking for in a Warehouse Operative:
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential
- Comfortable using computers and handheld scanners
- Reliable, organised and happy working as part of a team
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
