Job Description
Are you an organised administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, coordinating multiple priorities and making sure the detail doesn't get missed?
We're recruiting for a temporary IT Service Support Administrator to join a busy operational team within a professional, process-driven environment. The assignment will run to 31st March 2027.
Despite sitting within an IT function, this isn't a heavily technical IT support role. Instead, you'll provide the administration and coordination that helps the wider team deliver an effective service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and administering service requests and support activities
- Keeping track of actions, deadlines and follow-ups
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and procedures
- Supporting the preparation of reports, papers and briefing information
- Coordinating meetings, taking notes and tracking actions
- Maintaining SharePoint and document repositories
- Assisting with asset, licence and supplier records
- Supporting purchase order, invoice and budget administration where required
- Liaising with internal users, colleagues and external suppliers
What we're looking for
You'll be a confident and capable administrator with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous administration, coordination or business support experience
- Excellent record keeping and document management skills
- Confidence managing several priorities and deadlines
- Experience arranging meetings, taking notes and following up actions
- Good Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- A professional and helpful approach when dealing with colleagues, users and suppliers
- The ability to work independently and follow established processes
Previous experience supporting an IT, technical, service delivery or operational team would be useful, but you don’t need to be an IT technician or have advanced technical support experience.
Important information
This is a full-time, office-based assignment working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and you'll need to be comfortable working onsite near Addlestone five days per week.
If you're a strong administrator who enjoys bringing organisation and structure to a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.
