Amber Employment Services is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established tree surgery contractor based in Woking.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled arborists on a variety of domestic and commercial projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas.
Duties will include:
- Assisting climbers with day-to-day tree surgery operations
- Processing branches and timber
- Operating woodchippers and other ground-based equipment
- Loading and unloading tools, machinery and materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
- Assisting with tree felling and dismantling operations
- General grounds maintenance and site clearance
- Working safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within tree surgery, arboriculture or grounds maintenance
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Chainsaw qualifications (desirable but not essential)
