Scientific Project Coordinator

We are looking for a Higher Scientific Officer on a temporary basis until July 2021. This role will be responsible producing publicly available scientific summaries of the assessment report for each new Marketing Authorisation for publication.

The role

This is a temporary, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week until July 2021 initially.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Using scientific knowledge to make decisions about what information to include in reports of scientific tests and clinical studies for the lay public audience.
• Summarise scientific data and draw together all sections of the assessment reports.
• Assessing and approving veterinary medicine product literature and applications made under the Special Import Scheme.
• Collaborating closely with both administrative staff and specialist assessors.

What you need to succeed:

Only applications with a Science-based degree will be considered, preferably within Veterinary Science or other related fields. For this role you must also have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and can manipulate data within it. You need to be highly organised, able to prioritise workload and have excellent communication skills.
