Are you passionate about working for a charitable organisation and have the natural ability to forge and nurture new and existing relationships to encourage donations?

As the Grants Fundraising Manager you will be looking to achieve grant income targets for trusts, foundations, borough councils & other grant-makers while ensuring funders are reported on what the funding has achieved, encouraging future support, and that all conditions in grant agreements are met.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (3-6 month Fixed Term Contract, part-time)

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing strong cases for support to effectively engage funders
  • Preparing and submitting high quality, tailored funding applications
  • Managing existing funders and building new relationships with funders
  • Working closely with frontline colleagues to provide high quality, timely reports and updates to funders
  • Ensuring the database is up to date and provides an accurate picture of activities, deadlines and the fundraising pipeline
  • Delivering monthly reporting to the Head of Development for circulation to Fundraising Team, Senior Leadership Team and Trustees

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in project management, building working relationships and previous success in raising funds for charity. You must be highly organised, motivated and professional with exceptional communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential and a proven team player.
