A Brand Communications Manager with experience of the pharma sector is sought for a large expanding company based in Addlestone, on a contract basis.

We are looking for someone who can lead the execution of Therapy Area / brand communications strategies in the established markets commercial region, to enhance awareness of the Company portfolio and organisation among relevant external stakeholders, building presence and leadership in key therapy areas.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Working in partnership with the newly formed global Therapeutic Area/brand communications and One Commercial Communications team to ensure a timely and coordinated approach to provision of approved core media materials.
  • Working cross functionally internally to ensure therapy / brand communications programmes developed are approved, regionally compliant and implemented within timelines set.
  • Facilitating co-creation with markets and collaborating with the affiliate communicator network to pull through and implement communications in market and supporting appropriate affiliate evaluation of implemented communications activity.
  • Working with comms team to drive compelling internal newsflow and website/social content around priority products/therapy areas as appropriate to educate and engage the internal/external audience, leveraging patient insight to highlight the value and impact of medicines, creating engagement around new launches and demonstrating a patient centred culture.
  • Supporting Established Markets Operational Marketing team efforts to generate excitement internally around product regulatory/ launch and access milestones and ensure programmes proposed align with the regional strategic imperatives set.
  • Working with global Therapeutic Area/brand communications and EST-C communications to provide issues/crisis management counsel to key internal stakeholders and affiliates should an issue occur. Prepare and maintain written materials such as messaging materials, Q&A documents.
  • Manage PR agencies in delivering the product Communications tracking the budget and performance of the agency, ensuring consistency across the priority products.

 

To be considered for this role, you will need a BS or BA degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications or related field , together with external product or corporate communications experience and proven compliance expertise in multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross cultural settings.
