Rebecca Bannerman FIRP CertRP

Rebecca started her recruitment career in 1998, initially as a Permanents Consultant (winning Consultant of the Year for 2 consecutive years) before becoming Branch Manager of the flag ship location of one of the largest independent agencies. Rebecca then went on to run a highly successful newly acquired agency within the commercial office sector. In 2007 Rebecca formed Amber Employment Services with her business partner Jill, concentrating her efforts on taking recruitment back to basics as a consultancy and client service as opposed to a sales led function.

When not working, Rebecca’s time is taken up by her family (Andrew, teenage daughter Robyn and two cats) and dining with friends.  She is well known for her love of good food (cooking and eating out) and red wine - Hardy's Crest Cabernet Shiraz Merlot in particular!  A creature of habit, Rebecca returns to the island of Kefalonia the same week every year to unwind.

Jill Georgiou FIRP

Director

Jill joined a local agency as Temps Manager in 1989 and quickly established a highly successful partnership with local companies seeking reliable and skilled temporary staff. Jill’s background before embarking on a career within the recruitment sector included working as a PA at Senior level, Front of House Manager at a high profile establishment and Restaurant Owner/Manager. Clients and candidates alike appreciate her personal approach and value the quality of service that dealing with the same person for many years provides.

Being married to Peter, a Greek Cypriot, means family is central to Jill’s life and they spent a number of years in stunning Cyprus when the children were young. Spending time with her beautiful grandchildren takes up much of Jill’s spare time but her love of good food and wine, one of many shared interests with Rebecca, means she can often be found socialising at the Red Lion in Horsell necessitating a few extra sessions at the gym! 

Nicola Pettet MIRP

Senior Consultant

Concentrating on permanent roles, Nicola will be identifying strong quality candidates to match client recruitment needs based on both skills and personality.  Thriving in a busy environment, Nicola enjoys challenges where no two days are the same.  Nicola brings considerable experience gained within recruitment, coupled with energy and enthusiasm to the team.  Industrious and committed in her approach, Nicola adds real value and fun to Amber.

When not in the office, Nicola volunteers her time to a local animal rehoming centre and relaxes in the evening with a cheeky glass of wine and sharing something to eat with good company.

Bethany Browne AIRP

Consultant

Bethany runs our busy temps desk, working closely with clients and candidates on temporary and short term contract vacancies in a wide range of roles, whilst also successfully managing permanent recruitment for a group of our key clients. Bethany is passionate about the client and candidate experience, providing practical advice and support at all levels. She applies careful thought and consideration to the recruitment process to provide high quality staffing solutions. Quick to recognise potential in people, Bethany gains job satisfaction from helping candidates find their ideal position with the right employer. Friendly, easy-going and professional, Bethany is well placed to deliver outstanding results to our client base.

Outside of work you will see Bethany flying along in her classic Mini after work or out walking her puppy Murphy! Going against the usual grain at Amber, Bethany will shun the wine in favour of a Mojito and enjoys dining out with friends at the weekend.

Nicky Stunt AIRP

Consultant

Nicky enjoys building strong relationships and will go the extra mile to ensure that both clients and candidates receive a high level of service from her. Nicky’s recruitment experience is complemented by a background in Sales and Marketing. Her dedication to creating an ideal match between employers and job seekers is testament to her success, coupled with her passion for helping others achieve their full potential.

Nicky loves spending quality time with her young son Harry and her Partner Rich. They enjoy visiting beautiful places with their National Trust memberships, and when not outside playing Nicky can be found on the sofa snuggling up with her family including their fluffy kitten, Clementine, for a movie marathon!

Elle Wilks AIRP

Engagement & Marketing Manager

Known for her (obsessive!) attention to detail and exceptional relationship management, Elle supports Amber’s team of consultants in resourcing and advertising, and oversees Amber’s ever-expanding marketing functions from managing the company’s social channels to promoting the hugely popular Employment Law Seminars. She is committed to service excellence through strengthening Amber’s ethical brand and reputation in the local community. 

With two young children very close in age, Elle has her hands full outside of the office! She also runs her own successful social enterprise supporting parents and teachers to tackle gender inequality at home and in the classroom. Elle loves yoga, sci-fi films and wine (not necessarily in that order!), and has just taken up hula-hooping as a new challenge!

Tamara Smith AIRP

Office Administrator

Tamara is the glue that holds the office together, providing administrative support across the team and making sure we’re efficient and effective in all our day-to-day operations. If you call, email or pop in, it’s likely to be our lovely Tamara that you’ll come into contact with first. But she isn’t just a hard-working and reliable presence in the office, she also instructs aqua and Body Pump classes after work during the week and teaches children’s swimming lessons on a Saturday. As if that’s not enough, she’s part of a local cheerleading team, the Surrey Starlets, which sees her training for nearly seven hours a week and competing against other teams throughout the year. Tamara is certainly a bubbly boost to our office energy levels!
