The opportunity

 

A forward-thinking and dynamic employment law firm are looking for a confident and adaptable appointment setter to support the continued sales growth of the business. You will be given full training and a targeted database to contact in order to generate quality sales appointments for a small field-based team, and a growing feed of interested inbound leads created through the latest marketing automation techniques. This is a key and integrated part of the overall sales team at the company with excellent career progression opportunities.

This is a very different kind of employment law firm and HR business partner, offering a range of integrated HR and legal services to their clients. They are based in a beautiful barn on the outskirts of Woking town centre with plenty of parking. There is a genuine family feel to the team and working environment.

 

The role

 

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Securing face-to-face and telephone-based sales appointments
  • Maintaining a consistent level of quality proactive outbound calls to prospective business customers
  • Contributing actively and positively to the development of the sales team and wider company
  • Updating and maintaining an online CRM system of your own personal records
  • Responding and following up inbound interested sales enquiries passed to you

 

The person

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

 

You are a confident, experienced, hungry and adaptable telemarketer, who is proactive at contacting your target audience and generating quality sales appointments for a small field-based team.

 

  • Successful B2B telephone-based sales experience
  • Regular and competent use of CRM or telemarketing database system
  • Excellent MS Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to prospects and a strong team player
  • Reliable with excellent telephone communication skills
  • Outgoing, open minded and works well within a dynamic and changing environment
